Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CatCardia LLC ("we", "us") covering your use of the RuneVault app and its related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
2. Beta software
The App is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and we may reset, migrate, or lose data while it is being developed. Keep your own records of anything you can’t afford to lose.
We may ask for feedback during the beta. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without owing you anything.
3. Unofficial fan content
RuneVault is unofficial fan content. It is not endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, Riftbound, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
Card names, text, and images belong to Riot Games and are shown for reference only. Nothing in the App grants you any right to them.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country, to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. Deleting it permanently removes your account and your vault and cannot be undone.
5. Your content
The collection data you add to the App (such as cards, quantities, conditions, and vaults) remains yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to run the App for you, including syncing it across your devices.
6. Camera and scanning
The scanner uses your device’s camera to read the set code and collector number printed on your cards. Text recognition runs on your device. Scan results can be wrong, so check what the scanner found before you add it to your vault.
7. Prices are estimates
Card prices and vault values are daily market estimates from third-party sources (TCGplayer market data via RiftHunt). They may be out of date, incomplete, or wrong, and they are not offers to buy or sell. Don’t rely on them as financial, insurance, or appraisal advice. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the App or its servers; try to access other users’ data or accounts; scrape, copy, or resell the App’s card or price data in bulk; reverse engineer the App except where the law allows; or use the App for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the App or other users at risk.
9. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services, including Apple and Google sign-in, Supabase for accounts and storage, and RiftHunt for card and price data. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.
If you got the App from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the App or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Privacy
We collect only what we need to run the App: your sign-in email and, if you choose to share it, your name, plus the collection data you add. We don’t sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy, available in the App, explains what we collect and how we use it.
11. Our rights in the App
Apart from Riot Games’ content and your own content, the App, its design, and its code belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use while you follow these Terms.
12. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t promise the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or card value, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to US$50.
Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
14. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms as the App changes. When we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the App, or your access to it, at any time. Sections 7 and 12 to 15 continue to apply after your access ends.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
